Seal&Send is an extension of WebDisk Files. The Android test version can take a
photo, sign it locally and save it in encrypted app storage. You can also add a
file from your phone.
This guide describes the current test version. Materials stay on your phone.
Sending them to WebDisk Files is not available yet.
After Saved on this phone., choose Done. Signing and encrypted storage
happen only after Save photo. The preview alone is not saved to your materials
or phone gallery. Leaving without saving discards it; rotating the screen or
closing the camera may require taking the photo again.
Photos have thumbnails in My materials. Select a photo to open a larger preview.
A separate Seal card appears below it. The file name and technical information
are under Show details. Other materials are under Other files.
Choose Add from phone in your materials and select a file in the system picker.
The app saves an encrypted copy. Ordinary import does not add a photo signature.
Under More options, Import JPEG and sign locally with C2PA signs a JPEG photo and labels its origin
as imported rather than captured by the app camera.
Choose Check seal on the Seal card. File signature is valid means the
signature and file change checks passed. This is a local signature: it does not
verify the author, location, trusted time or truth of the photographed scene.
Seal not verified does not confirm a signature. An ordinarily imported photo
can have a preview without a seal.
Check file checks that the encrypted local copy can be read without damage.
Queued only means it is queued for a future integration. It does not mean
the file has been sent or backed up in the cloud.
Do not uninstall the app or clear its data. Losing the phone or encryption key
may make local copies inaccessible. Recovery and export are not available in
this version. Only use test materials whose originals you have kept elsewhere.
Check camera permission and free storage, then try again. The prototype holds
16 materials, up to 16 MiB each and 128 MiB in total. Signing accepts JPEGs up to
12 MiB. The camera chooses a smaller capture resolution instead of the full
sensor resolution. If stored materials stop opening, do not clear app data.
